Nexon and MapleStory devs have announced that two new character classes and a new town have been added to the game with the second installment of the Big Bang update. The two new classes are ranged fighters called the Wild Hunter and the Battle Mage. The new town, Edelstein, is a tech hub and offers players new quests and the opportunity to join the resistance to defeat a cult seeking to overthrown the town's defenses.
In the latest statistics, while online players to reach 136,000 people, a new record is born since the service opened, it’s almost double of last year's top number.
NEXON North America CEO Daniel Kim said: This is a milestone of MapleStory in operation five years, marking the game reached a new level. In early next year, we will carry out a major update that will bring Players a better gaming experience.
